Steps of the Hungary Visa Application

1. Appointment Booking

Hungary visa applications are submitted through the AS Visa Application Center.

• An appointment must be scheduled in advance.
• All applicants are required to attend the appointment in person.

2. Preparation of Documents

Preparing your documents completely and accurately is the most critical stage of the process. Required documents include:

• Passport
• Biometric photograph
• Bank account statements
• Employment/student documents
• Travel itinerary
• Flight ticket (mandatory)
• Hotel reservations

📌 Note 1: To apply for a Hungarian visa, the travel plan must show that the longest stay will be in Hungary.
📌 Note 2: If your trip includes visits to multiple countries, you must provide proof of travel between countries. Acceptable documents include flight tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, or car rental agreements.

3. Application via AS Visa

Applications are not submitted directly to the Consulate. All applications must be lodged through the official application center, AS Visa.

4. Procedures at the Application Center

On the day of your appointment, the following procedures will be completed:

• Submission of documents
• Fingerprint collection
• Biometric photograph
• Submission of passport
• Payment of visa fee

• For Hungary visa applications, all applicants must attend in person.
• Applications cannot be submitted through authorization or via agencies.

5. Average Processing Time
